Brad McAvoy Named
Director of Engineering Services
Brad McAvoy has been promoted to Director of Engineering Services for Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. In his new position, McAvoy will oversee business development and marketing. "Brad will also serve as president of Owen-Ames-Kimball Engineering, Inc., which is our design/build department," said Tom Healy, President of Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. Since joining the company in 1990, McAvoy has been Project Manager for a number of design/build projects, including the recent Steelcase Wood Manufacturing plant.
Beginning his career as a construction foreman in Indiana, McAvoy holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He belongs to the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers, and is also a member of the Courtland Township Planning Commission. He recently received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Professional Accreditation.
McAvoy replaces John Keelean as President of Owen-Ames-Kimball Engineering, Inc. Keelean, who holds a degree in architecture from the University of Michigan, is retiring after a 27-year career with Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. He joined the company in 1974 to lead the design department at Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. Most recently he has served as Vice President for the firm and as a member of the Board of Directors, in addition to his role as President of Owen-Ames-Kimball Engineering, Inc.

Frank Bartoszek Named Chief Estimator
Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. has promoted Frank Bartoszek from Project Manager to Chief Estimator. In this role, he will oversee project management functions, bidding work, and project pricing.
Bartoszek received a degree in Construction Technology from Bowling Green State Frank Bartoszek University and joined Owen-Ames-Kimball1984. He has worked on many of Owen-Ames-Kimball Co.'s major Grand Rapids projects, including the Van Andel Public Museum and, most recently, the Kent County Courthouse. Bartoszek has also spent time with Owen-Ames-Kimball Co.'s Fort Myers subsidiary, expanding Construction Management services.
Bartoszek replaces Ron Denhof, who is retiring. Denhof, who holds a degree from Michigan State
