Kevin Donovan - Muskegon Construction Company President

Named President in 2006, Kevin Donovan has been with Muskegon Construction Company for the past 10 years and his extensive construction experience dates back to 1979. Donovan is a licensed residential builder with a degree in Building Construction Technology from Ferris State University. In addition to many community activities, Donovan is a member of the Muskegon Public Schools Board of Education. He also serves as Vice President of the West Michigan Construction Alliance and President of the Muskegon Irish American Society. He is also an AGC Safety & Health committee member.

 

Wiliiam Schoonveld - Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. President

Only the seventh president in the history of the company, Bill Schoonveld has spent almost his entire career at Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. He joined the firm in 1978 after spending several years as a self-employed contractor. Schoonveld is a member of the West Michigan Minority Contractors Association and the Associated Builders and Contractors National Board of Directors.  Additionally, Schoonveld serves on the Wayland Union Educational Enrichment Foundation Board of Directors and teaches Junior Achievement at St. Jude Catholic School.

 

Steven Shimp, P.E., - Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. President

A graduate of Denison University and Ohio State University, where he earned bachelor ’s and master ’s degrees in Construction Management, Shimp has guided Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. to the position of prominent provider of construction services in Southwest Florida. Shimp has been consistently recognized as a community leader in Southwest Florida with a particular emphasis in economic development and public education interests.He has also been active in the banking industry, having served on the Miami Branch Federal Reserve Board and as a director of Colonial Bank
