UFCW Headquarters

A $2.5 million, two-story headquarters for Local 951 of the United Food and Commercial Workers is being constructed in the Evergreen Commercial Subdivision on the East Beltline
in Grand Rapids, site work and foundation work is scheduled to begin by the first of
October. This 12,300 square foot facility is seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design) status as it incorporates many ‘green building’ characteristics and
concepts.Muskegon Construction Company was selected earlier this year as the
design/build contractor for this project.
