Oakridge Public Schools Bond Project
The bond project
for Oakridge Public Schools included additions and renovations
at the high school and middle school and also at
Wolf Lake Elementary. The high school and middle school formerly
occupied the same facility. The new high school was constructed
west of the existing facility, which now houses the middle school.
These were connected with a walkway that allows the schools to
share common areas.
Features:
• New music rooms, media center and cafeteria
• Gymnasium, locker rooms and 25 new teaching stations
• New parking lot and bus drop-off area
• Six classrooms, including new furnishings, cabinetry, sinks
and carpet
• Carpeted connecting corridors, housing 114 new lockers
• Interior remodeling including upgrade of windows and flooring
