City of Muskegon Water Filtration Plant
When the City
of Muskegon needed to improve its water filtration plant, Muskegon
Construction Company made it happen.
With the
facility located on the Lake Michigan shoreline, Muskegon
Construction Company had to work quickly to beat heavy
snowfall.
The building was enclosed and the exterior completed before
winter arrived. The corridor connecting the new building to the
existing
plant had to be built over a 70-year old, underground, concrete
tank. The locations of the support columns in the tank were
unknown, so MCC sent divers into the basin to determine their precise
location.
