Art Works of Muskegon

The former Muskegon Boilerworks building will be renovated into 26 artist style apartment units leasing late summer/early fall 2005. The apartment units are being designed to appeal to the artist community with several different unit designs, featuring some with the following: open space and design; some with concrete floors and some with carpeted floors; exposed brick; exposed structure; extra wide corridors and lobby areas for artist's displays; shared spaces; Muskegon Lake views from 17 units; and much more. The building, which is located in the City of Muskegon's Renaissance Zone, has been designated as a State Historic building site.
